Stage two, which will start from Tarragona on July 5, will cover 6 kilometers through the city center before continuing towards Barcelona (180 km). Attendance of between 50,000 and 80,000 people is expected along the urban route, with about 20,000 spectators anticipated solely in the Parc Francolí area.
The institutional event, held at the Palau de Pedralbes in Barcelona, brought together representatives from 63 Catalan municipalities. The organization (ASO) anticipates extensive media coverage, with 2,000 journalists accredited and nearly 110 hours of live broadcasting in 190 countries, ensuring global exposure for Catalonia.
