The four Puertos del Estado buoys in Catalonia (Tarragona, Delta de l'Ebre, Barcelona, and Begur) have recorded average temperatures higher than usual during June, reaching figures that place them among the highest since 2013.
The Tarragona buoy marked an average of 24.34°C in June, slightly lower than last year, but reached a peak of 28.4°C this Sunday. In the Delta de l'Ebre, the average was 23.93°C, lower than records from 2025 and 2017.
Barcelona experienced the highest value ever recorded for June, with its buoy registering 28.2°C. In Begur, with records from the last five years, the temperature reached 26.77°C, the second highest value after last year's 29.1°C, although its June average was the lowest of the four buoys (21.89°C).
