Tarragona to host second edition of Especial Dansa professional fair

The city of Tarragona will host the second edition of Especial Dansa on March 25 at the Palau de Congressos, aiming to boost the dance market across Catalonia.

This biennial event serves as a key meeting point for 250 professionals, including programmers and municipal technicians. Out of 120 applicants, 15 companies were chosen by a specialized committee to present their latest works. The program features two main sections: Especial Showcase for upcoming premieres and Especial Lab for projects currently in development.
Selected artists include Silvia Batet, Marc Fernández, and Raquel Klein. These performances are supported by Programa.cat, a Department of Culture initiative that assists municipal performing arts programming. Professional registration for the event is available until March 18.
