This Tuesday, September 8th, schoolchildren in Torredembarra are returning to classes. Specifically, 56 groups have been allocated for Early Childhood and Primary Education, which will accommodate a total of 1,144 students. Of these, 313 will attend the second cycle of Early Childhood Education and 831 will go to Primary.
Regarding Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), the two institutes in the town have a combined total of 942 enrolled students, organized into 32 groups. The Torredembarra Institute will have 15 groups, while Ramon de la Torre will have 17. The first year of ESO will have 8 groups.
The municipal nursery schools have started the academic year with 140 children enrolled, filling all 9 available places across the two municipally-owned centers.
