The municipal action stems from an administrative procedure initiated due to the owner's failure to meet maintenance obligations. After verifying the situation, and being unable to locate the owners for notifications, the Council proceeded according to current regulations, including publications in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on January 9 and May 15, 2026.
A technical report from February 11, 2026, proposed the subsidiary execution of the works, notified on April 12, 2026. Subsequently, judicial authorization to enter the property was requested and obtained, granted on July 24, 2026.
The works, costing €34,851.71 (including VAT), involved comprehensive cleaning, installation of a metal perimeter fence, and pest treatment. The City Council will initiate legal actions to recover these expenses.

The interventions included the removal of vegetation, waste, and other accumulated items, the installation of a perimeter fence, and pest treatment, aiming to prevent unauthorized access and future waste accumulation.
