The Mossos d'Esquadra police force has arrested two men, aged 23 and 29, for a violent robbery and assault that took place last Friday in the Sant Salvador neighborhood of Tarragona.

The incident occurred in the Interblocs area on Friday afternoon, when a group of individuals attacked the victim with machetes. Police reports indicate that the victim and the aggressors were known to each other. The attackers fled the scene after stealing the man's wallet and personal belongings.
The victim, who suffered non-life-threatening knife wounds, declined medical assistance from the Emergency Medical System (SEM). Following an investigation, police located and arrested two suspects on Saturday near Block 17.
Both detainees have a combined record of twenty previous police incidents. On Sunday, March 22, a Tarragona judge ordered their immediate imprisonment pending trial.
