VaDeGust Wins Popular Seafood Rice Contest in Tarragona

The restaurant has been recognized by the public in the seventh edition of the city's Seafood Rice Gastronomic Days.

The VaDeGust restaurant has been named the winner of the popular contest at the VII Seafood Rice Gastronomic Days of Tarragona, an initiative that brought together twenty establishments in the city.

This event, organized by AEH Tarragona Ciutat, took place between April 17 and May 3. During this period, diners were able to enjoy menus and tastings featuring seafood rice as the main dish, and voted for their favorite proposal through a mobile application.
VaDeGust's gastronomic proposal, based on product quality and careful cooking, was the most highly rated by the public. The winning menu included four fish and seafood starters, a choice of rice —either 'del senyoret' or oxtail with artichokes, mushrooms, and guanciale with smoked rosemary—, in addition to dessert and a shot.

The award was presented by the president of AEH Tarragona Ciutat, Javier Escribano, and the Councillor for Tourism, Economic Promotion and Commerce of the Tarragona City Council, Montse Adan. The event highlighted the local restaurant sector's involvement in promoting local gastronomy.
With this initiative, the Seafood Rice Days are consolidated as an important event in Tarragona's gastronomic calendar, strengthening the link between local produce, the territory, and the culinary experience.
