Vila-seca's Summer Festa Major inaugurates the Espai Àgora on the La Pineda promenade, adding to a dozen locations that decentralize the celebration.

Vila-seca is consolidating its decentralized Festa Major model, bringing concerts and shows to a dozen venues across the municipality, from the Historic Center to the seafront. The celebration spans ten days, transforming the urban space to bring culture, music, and tradition to every neighborhood.
The main novelty this year is the Espai Àgora, a new scenic spot located on the La Pineda promenade, utilizing the existing tiered seating area. This space will host the opening show of the Festa Major, a family-oriented event, and will also be the arrival point for the Traditional Culture Showcase on Sunday, featuring a parade with festive elements and traditional dances from the municipality.
In La Pineda, the main stage remains at the Parc del Pinar de Perruquet, where activities were moved last year. This location will host a concert of 'havaneres' and DJ sets during the nights of today and tomorrow.
In Vila-seca town, the Parc de la Riera will once again be the stage for major concerts, with performances scheduled by groups such as Mojinos Escozíos, La Fúmiga, and the orchestra Nova Alaska, which will be in charge of the Grand Festa Major Ball. The Rambla de Catalunya and Plaça d'Estudis will feature small-format stages for family shows, comedy, and concerts.
The Espai Cubik, in the courtyard of the Escola Sant Bernat Calvó, will offer three nights of open-air DJ sets. Nearby, the garden of the Library will become La Terrasseta d'Estiu, a chill-out space with ambient music open from July 30th to August 3rd.
This year, El Fènix has also joined the festivities with its own program on Carrer de la Font street, promising music and revelry.
