The event, corresponding to the 2025-2026 academic year, allowed presentations to be followed both in person and online. Students had twenty minutes to present their work, methodology, objectives, and main research findings to the evaluation committee and the attending audience.
The presented theses covered topics such as the evaluation of images to identify geoglyphs and road networks in the Atacama Desert, transfer processes in high-mountain archaeological heritage, a diachronic analysis of hearths in the prehistory of Menorca, and cultural and material hybridization in Magna Graecia.
Following each defense, a Q&A session was opened with the participation of the evaluation committee, allowing for deeper dives into the research aspects and an exchange of reflections on the methodologies used and the contributions of the works. This space fostered the exchange of ideas and academic discussion.
The evaluation committee, composed of specialists from the URV, UAB, and ICAC, highlighted the students' ability to work with diverse sources and the variety of topics and methodological approaches. The theses demonstrated the scientific interest and connection to current issues in archaeological heritage.
