The town of Vila-seca is preparing to host the 22nd edition of FiM, the emerging and family music fair, scheduled to take place from May 7 to 10.

This year's lineup features 61 performances, with over 90% being premieres or new productions. Director Martí Marfà emphasized that the festival serves as a vital showcase for the current music scene, offering a platform for artists who are still finding their voice in a competitive industry.

"FiM is the opportunity to perform a first concert in front of an audience, release a debut album, or launch a new tour."

The festival highlights a commitment to diversity, with 65% of the acts led by women. Notable performers include Lildami, Reggae Per Xics, and emerging artists like Xènia Casadó and Admire. The event, centered around the Vila-seca Castle, remains free for the local community.
