The selection of Edu Soto, a highly popular figure in the Spanish comedy scene, ensures a dynamic and entertaining opening for this key celebration in Salou's festive calendar.
Soto is recognized for his versatile career in theater, cinema, and television, notably for his character El Neng de Castefa. His style blends monologues, improvisation, and live music.
The opening speech will take place at 8:00 PM at the TAS and will also feature the presentation of the Pubilles and the Heredero of Salou, figures symbolizing the tradition and festive spirit of the municipality.
The inaugural day will conclude with the comedy show “Más vale solo que ciento volando” (Better alone than a hundred flying), starring Edu Soto himself, held at the Envelat de Festa Major.
