Salou Hosts Seventh Edition of Rice Gastronomic Days with 22 Restaurants
The event, now a key fixture, will offer special menus featuring rice as the main ingredient from April 24 to May 24.

The town of Salou is hosting the seventh edition of the Rice Gastronomic Days, with the participation of 22 restaurants offering special menus from April 24 to May 24.
The Association of Hospitality Businesses (AEH) Salou, in collaboration with the Salou City Council and sponsored by Nomen Foods, has officially presented the seventh edition of these gastronomic days. The presentation event took place at the 4R Casablanca restaurant, located in front of Ponent Beach, in the capital of the Costa Daurada.
For one month, a total of 22 establishments in the municipality will offer unique culinary proposals, with rice as the main ingredient. The dishes will be prepared with Bayo rice and paired with a selection of wines designed to enhance the gastronomic experience. This now consolidated initiative aims to highlight the quality of local produce and the creativity of the participating restaurateurs.

A representative from Nomen Foods emphasized the brand's strong connection to the region and its commitment to promoting quality, local rice, considered a cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet.

The president of AEH Salou and chef of the Deliranto restaurant highlighted the versatility of rice, capable of connecting traditional cuisine with the most innovative proposals. He added that the days are an opportunity for the sector to showcase its talent and culinary identity.
For his part, the councilor for Economic Dynamization stressed the importance of the event in strengthening Salou's image as a leading gastronomic destination. He noted that the city offers much more than sun and beach, and that initiatives like this are crucial for boosting the local economy and de-seasonalizing tourism, extending the tourist season.
Participating restaurants include: Cook and Travel, MRKT Gastrobar, 4R Casablanca Restaurant, Thai Salou, El Racó de Nico, Panorama Nikkei Bar, Caffe di Mare, Restaurant La Pasión, La Sardineta Salou, Huma, (M)nudo, O Mar Restaurant, Restaurant Arena, La Taberna del Áncora, Amaranto, Lunattic, Malapecora by Bandarra, Tabaré Gastrobar, Mendebal, Castillo de Javier, Brumma Infinitum Beach Club, and Garito Bistró.
