El Teatret del Serrallo has launched the participatory campaign 'Fem Memòria' to collect testimonies and graphic material from the former Fishermen's Guild Hall, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of its restoration.

Under the name ‘Fem Memòria’ (Let's Remember), the initiative aims to gather anecdotes, experiences, testimonies, and graphic material related to the cultural and social life of the former Fishermen's Guild Hall. This campaign is part of the special activities the Teatret is organizing to commemorate the 10th anniversary of its restoration.
The objective is to collect stories from people linked to the space, which previously served as a school, a youth center, and a social club, until its closure in the 1980s. According to the venue's manager, Sandra Coloma, the aim is to “recover the memory that is still alive today in all those people who were connected to the space in its different forms”.
El Teatret del Serrallo, which reopened in July 2016, has become a cultural benchmark in Tarragona. The celebration of 10 years as the Teatret, added to its many more years as a cultural and social venue, motivates this initiative. “We don't want all this memory to be lost,” states Coloma, “we have launched this initiative which is above all a tribute to the space and to all those who gave it life over so many years”.
Those interested in participating can send their testimonies, memories, or anecdotes by email to the provided addresses or by voice message via Whatsapp to the phone number 682 79 39 07.
