Following days of intense rainfall caused by Storm Harry, the Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya forecasts a weather improvement in Tarragona this weekend, featuring partially clear skies and mild temperatures.

The weekend brings calm to Tarragona after the intense rains that affected the province. Both the Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya (Meteocat) and the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) expect a progressive improvement in the weather, with virtually no precipitation and mild temperatures, ideal for outdoor activities.
Despite the general improvement, Aemet forecasts that light rainfall could occur in the region on Saturday morning. This calm episode will be brief, as a new period of intense rain is expected starting Tuesday, when the probability of precipitation is 100%.
Storm Harry, which persisted between last Friday and Tuesday, left notable accumulations in various parts of the province. The Prades station recorded 178 l/m², while Montbrió del Camp and Riudecols reached 172.5 and 163.8 mm respectively, ranking among the most affected municipalities in Catalonia.
The rain episode has been beneficial for water resources, causing increases in the flow of rivers and ravines, and significantly raising the levels of the region's reservoirs. Although some rural areas were temporarily flooded, no serious incidents have been reported in Tarragona capital and nearby municipalities.
