The Hospital del Vendrell, part of the Xarxa Santa Tecla network, has once again been recognized at the Top 20 awards, presented by IQVIA, for its overall hospital management in the category of small general hospitals in the region.

These awards, now in their 27th edition, evaluate the results of over 200 public and private hospitals across Spain based on objective data. The Hospital del Vendrell thus renews its management recognition from an independent entity with a long history in assessing hospital quality.
This TOP 20 award adds to previous accolades received by the Vendrell hospital in this event: it was previously awarded in the same category in 2018, 2023, and 2025, and also received an award in the Women's Care category in 2010.
The TOP 20 awards ceremony took place on October 15th in Madrid, where a delegation from Xarxa Santa Tecla accepted the award. Award technicians annually analyze the clinical processes of each hospital center, recognizing both overall management and the most efficient clinical areas, with Right Care being a new addition this year.
Xarxa Santa Tecla's connection with the TOP 20 awards is long-standing. Between 2002 and 2012, the Hospital de Santa Tecla in Tarragona accumulated 10 TOP 20 awards in various categories. Furthermore, the Hospital de Santa Tecla was among the nominees in 2023, adding to the five awards achieved by the Hospital del Vendrell since its inception.
