Among the highest readings were 137 km/h in La Riba, 136.4 km/h in Portbou-coll dels Belitres, and 134 km/h in La Sénia. Speeds also exceeded 120 km/h in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant and Miami Platja.
Road disruptions were significant. The AP-7 highway faced restrictions for articulated vehicles between Cambrils and L'Ampolla. Furthermore, the Servei Català de Trànsit (SCT) reported a lane closure in each direction on the AP-7 near Mont-roig del Camp due to trees falling onto the road.
Civil Protection asks citizens to exercise special caution when traveling and engaging in outdoor activities, and to check road conditions and weather forecasts.
The majority of the 200 calls received by the Bombers de la Generalitat (Fire Department) were concentrated in Camp de Tarragona (142) and Terres de l'Ebre (25). Towns such as Mont-roig del Camp, Reus, Valls, and Cambrils were the most affected, reporting damage to bus shelters and parked vehicles.
In Valls, the wind forced the closure of a gas station due to roof damage, and in Riudoms, the facade of the CAP (Primary Care Center) suffered damage from a detached panel. Protecció Civil maintains the Ventcat plan alert across thirty counties, with particular focus on Montsià, Baix Ebre, Baix Camp, and Tarragonès.
