The Port of Tarragona announced its participation in a total of 24 international trade fairs, congresses, and logistics events throughout 2026 to strengthen its position as a leading port in the Western Mediterranean and attract new traffic.

Attendance at these events will allow the Port to reaffirm its role in key sectors such as agri-food and petrochemicals, while reinforcing its commitment to diversification in areas like general cargo, vehicles, floating offshore wind, and cruises, where it aims to be a competitive option for major operators.
This commercial activity will take the Port Tarragona team to nearly ten countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Portugal, and Austria, in addition to various meetings across Spain. The primary goal is to showcase the business opportunities offered by strategic projects such as the Guadalajara – Marchamalo intermodal terminal, the future multipurpose maritime terminal at Moll d’Andalusia, and the Logistics Activities Zone (ZAL) in Vila-seca.
The fair calendar highlights the diversity of strategic sectors. In petrochemicals, the 60th meeting of the European Petrochemical Association (EPCA) stands out. In the field of green energy, events include the World Hydrogen 2026 Summit & Exhibition and the III Congreso Nacional de Hidrógeno Verde.
Regarding the agri-food sector, the Port of Tarragona will be present at six events, such as the 66th European Commodities Exchange and the XXIII Encuentro Nacional de Operadores de Cereales (ENOC). Furthermore, to boost offshore wind energy, the Port will participate in two key events: the WFO Global Summit 2026, held in Barcelona, and the WindEurope fair in Madrid.
Finally, general cargo and multimodality will feature prominently on the agenda with participation in events like Breakbulk Europe and the SIL – International Logistics Exhibition. The cruise sector will be represented at Seatrade Cruise Global and the CLIA European Summit.
