The activity, starting at 5:30 PM, will be led by Olga Armengol, a renowned workshop facilitator with a scientific and gastronomic background. It is part of the Biblioteques amb DO project, which aims to connect the region's culture with the public library services of Catalonia.
The workshop invites participants to become true culinary alchemists, exploring the world of grapes and their derivatives through experiments that merge science and creativity. Techniques of molecular cuisine such as spherification, gelification, and color-changing reactions will be performed, culminating in a collective exhibition of the creations.
The main objective is to stimulate creativity, introduce basic concepts of culinary chemistry, and link the world of wine with contemporary gastronomy, creating a memorable experience through play and a theatrical atmosphere.
The activity is free and has a limited capacity of 15 children with their companions. Prior booking of tickets is essential through the Viu La Torre app and the municipal website.
