The day of competitions for children has become a benchmark event in the town. The races take place on various circuits within the Municipal Sports Zone, with distances ranging from 175 to 1,700 meters, adapted to the different ages of the participants, from kindergarten to cadet categories. At the end of the races, prizes and recognitions will be awarded to the classified participants.
This cross counts towards the Tarragonès Regional phase of the Catalan School Sports Games (JEEC). To participate, athletes must be duly registered in the JEEC and possess the corresponding sports license. Participation is part of the official school sports program of Catalonia.
The event is organized by the Antoni Roig School, the Consell Esportiu del Tarragonès, and the Torredembarra City Council, through the Sports Department. It is supported by the AFA of the Antoni Roig School, the Department of Sports of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Diputació de Tarragona, Escola l'Antina, Escola Molí de Vent, Atletes d’Altafulla, and Repsol.
