The Torredembarra City Council opened on Thursday, October 22nd, the period for the free collection of 60 commemorative banners from the passage of the Grand Départ of the 2026 Tour de France through the municipality.

The banners can be collected at the Sant Jordi Municipal Pavilion while stocks last. During the initial days, from October 22nd to November 1st, collection will be exclusively reserved for residents registered in Torredembarra, with a limit of two units per person. From November 2nd onwards, if banners are still available, collection will be open to everyone, regardless of their municipality of residence, maintaining the same limit.
The collection hours at the Sant Jordi Municipal Pavilion are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 9 PM. The banners were initially installed on the town's lampposts to announce the race's passage, which occurred on July 5th, as part of the second stage of the 2026 Tour de France Grand Départ between Tarragona and Barcelona.
Following the interest shown by several residents in keeping a memento of this event, the City Council, through the Department of Sports, Physical Activity and Health, has managed to recover these items with the race organizers.
