The Vila-seca City Council suspended the traditional Tres Tombs and several Winter Festival events this Saturday due to the intense rain affecting the Tarragonès region.

The suspension was decided early on Saturday after intense rainfall was recorded overnight and early morning, affecting the celebration in honor of Sant Antoni, patron saint of the municipality of Vila-seca.
In addition to the Tres Tombs (Three Turns), the City Council also canceled the Cursa de Pallassos i Pallasses (Clowns Race), the Canonada Matinera, and the social petanque tournament scheduled at Parc de l’Estació.

The council recommends following its social media channels to stay informed about possible changes or new cancellations depending on the weather evolution.

Regarding pending events, the Nit del Foc (Night of Fire), organized by the Ball de Diables de Vila-seca, is scheduled for Saturday starting at 6:30 PM, although its realization depends on the weather conditions.
The central event of the festival, the Cós de Sant Antoni horse races, scheduled for Sunday, are currently maintained. The final decision on their celebration will be made on Sunday morning, after evaluating the track conditions.
