La Selva solar plant authorized in Vilallonga del Camp with 4.99 MW of power

The project, promoted by the Barcelona-based company Abda Energía SL, plans the installation of nearly ten thousand photovoltaic panels.

The General Directorate of Energy has greenlit the construction of the La Selva photovoltaic plant by Abda Energía SL, located in Vilallonga del Camp, involving an investment of 2.7 million euros.

The General Directorate of Energy has granted the Barcelona-based company Abda Energía SL the preliminary administrative and construction authorization for the La Selva photovoltaic solar plant. It will be located on several plots in polygon 8 of the municipality of Vilallonga del Camp, in the Tarragonès region.
The installation will have a capacity of 4.99 MW and include 9,840 photovoltaic panels. The total budget for the project is 2,662,334.43 euros, approximately 2.7 million euros.
The 25 kV evacuation lines for the plant will be underground and will cross the municipal areas of Vilallonga del Camp and la Selva del Camp, the latter belonging to the Baix Camp region.
