The DO Terra Alta has launched a new program of activities that combines tastings in heritage spaces within the region and tastings in specialized shops to promote its wines during the spring and summer.

Following the success of the fourth edition of the Primavera DO Terra Alta festival, which gathered nearly 3,000 attendees, the organization maintains its commitment to spreading wine culture. During the months of May and June, the so-called Landscape Tastings will allow visitors to discover the wines awarded in the entity's annual contest in unique locations such as the Convent of Sant Salvador or the Wine Cathedral of Pinell de Brai.
This initiative seeks to offer an immersive experience that links the product with the territory, history, and rural heritage. In parallel, the DO Terra Alta has established a collaboration with the Catalan Association of Specialized Shops to carry out tastings in various establishments, with a prominent presence in Barcelona and Girona, focusing on white garnacha.
On the other hand, the commercial expansion strategy also includes the professional sector. On June 1st, the designation will participate in the Salón de los Vinos Generosos, Dulces y Fortificados in Madrid. At this event, seven wineries from the region will present their references with the aim of opening new markets and consolidating the presence of local wines in the Spanish capital.
