More than 3,000 users in Terra Alta have used the Clic.cat on-demand public transport service over the past year to travel between municipalities and connect with destinations outside the region.

The service, operated by the company Hife, began its operations in Terra Alta in November 2024, becoming the largest in Catalonia with fifteen existing services. Information on schedules and usage conditions is available on the website of the Consell Comarcal de la Terra Alta and at hife.es/clic-cat.
The Consell Comarcal is working jointly with the Direcció General de Transports i Mobilitat to improve the region's public transport network. As a result of this collaboration, improvements have been consolidated in connections with Barcelona, with three daily round-trip services on weekdays and two on weekends.
Currently, efforts are also underway to enhance transport services to Reus and Tarragona, aiming to expand the range of expeditions to these cities.
Additionally, the Consell Comarcal de la Terra Alta is studying a proposal to establish transport services connecting to Terres de Ponent. The goal is to address the needs of the region's inhabitants for travel to Lleida for university and commercial purposes, as well as to access high-speed rail.
