The initiative, which receives aid from the Nuclear Transition Fund of the Generalitat, will focus on Terra Alta, Baix Camp, and Priorat for repopulation actions, such as incorporating families and restoring the agro-forest mosaic.
The project also includes measures to facilitate access to housing and promote commercial renewal in these regions.
In the Baix Ebre and Ribera d’Ebre regions, the strategy will focus on implementing forest management services through silvopasture and promoting rural cooperation spaces for fire prevention.
SomRuralitats, an initiative launched in 2025, is composed of five social and agricultural cooperatives from Terres de l'Ebre.
