The Agramunt City Council has achieved the National Security Scheme (ENS) certification at a medium level, becoming the first municipality in the Lleida region to obtain this recognition.

This distinction certifies that the council complies with the most demanding standards in information protection within electronic administration. The regulatory framework, governed by Royal Decree 311/2022, establishes the criteria that public administrations must follow to guarantee the security of data and digital services.
Obtaining this certification confirms the implementation of technical and organizational measures to preserve the confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity, and traceability of information. With this recognition, the City Council reinforces its commitment to digitalization and the improvement of public services, ensuring a secure and reliable environment for citizens in electronic processing.
The process has involved a comprehensive review of internal policies, technological systems, and work procedures, as well as the incorporation of new measures to prevent digital risks and threats. This set of actions contributes to consolidating an organizational culture based on security and continuous improvement.
It should be noted that the council already obtained the basic-level certification in 2024. Since then, it has continued to adapt its systems and equipment to face the growing challenges in cybersecurity and guarantee secure digital services, in addition to complying with current regulations and reaffirming its commitment to transparency and citizen trust.
