The organization Aspid successfully placed 55 people from the Urgell region into the labor market during 2025, according to a report presented at the Tàrrega Town Hall.

The group of newly employed individuals includes 31 people with disabilities and 24 people at risk of social exclusion. These results stem from the Labor Orientation and Intermediation Services, which supported a total of 128 users throughout the year.
The entity worked closely with 98 companies and managed 57 job openings. Key figures attending the presentation included Alba Castellana, Councilor for Social Action, and Bibiana Bendicho, President of Aspid.
Beyond direct employment, the Self-Employment Point supported by Fundació la Caixa helped launch four new businesses in the area, ranging from a gym to a marketing agency, strengthening the local economy in Tàrrega.
