The town of Bell-lloc d’Urgell hosted the first Sempre Endavant Day yesterday, an emotional tribute to athlete Raül Arenas, featuring the inauguration of a monument honoring his values.

Yesterday, Bell-lloc d’Urgell was the scene of an emotional day with the celebration of the first Sempre Endavant Day. The event served to recognize the personal trajectory and the human and solidarity values of the athlete Raül Arenas, born in Bell-lloc and currently residing in Tàrrega.
One of the most moving moments was the performance of the song Mar de pedra by the singer Aina Pala. This piece, originally dedicated to the mountain of Montserrat, was dedicated to Arenas as a reflection of his spirit of self-improvement and his passion for achieving new challenges.
The day culminated with the inauguration of the monument created by the sculptor Antonio Camacho. The sculpture, which will remain installed in Bell-lloc d’Urgell, symbolizes the values and challenges of the solidarity project Sempre Endavant: effort, self-improvement, and collective commitment.
The celebration saw broad participation from residents and entities from Bell-lloc and Tàrrega, including the Nans i Gegants de Tàrrega and Lo Groguet. The essential role of Raül Arenas' family was also recognized for their constant support in all his projects and solidarity challenges.
From now on, the Sempre Endavant Day will be celebrated annually on January 18, or the nearest weekend, with a solidarity act or event, consolidating itself as an annual date to promote the spirit of never giving up.
