The event will feature Mag Lari, a resident of Castellserà and owner of La Casa dels Àngels, as the opening speaker. The day will include a concert by the band La Rumba Blanca and a wine tasting from Tomàs Cusiné wineries, as part of the Catalan Government's Cultural Heritage agenda.
Attendees are encouraged to wear traditional Catalan attire, an initiative that has been well-received in previous years, especially by children. Throughout the morning, visitors can enjoy a craft and local produce market, children's activities such as traditional games and an inflatable castle, as well as a balloon-twisting workshop.
The gastronomic offerings will be complemented by bar terraces and tasting areas from the Tomàs Cusiné, Cérvoles, and Cara Nord wineries. There will also be photographic and video exhibitions of this year's grape harvest, as well as the black and white photographic exhibition 'Tocats pel jazz' by Jaume Sancho Roig, preceding the inauguration of the Jazztardor Festival.
The day begins at 11 AM with a solemn mass at the Sanctuary of Mare de Déu del Remei, sung by the centenarian Coral Flors d’Urgell of Castellserà, recently awarded the Creu Sant Jordi. Following this, at 12 PM, the Colla Gegantera i Grallera of Balaguer and Els Bombollers of Cervera will lead a parade, followed by a sardana dance performance by the Cobla de Tàrrega.
The concert by La Rumba Blanca in Plaça Major will start at 12:30 PM, and from 1 PM, attendees can enjoy an outdoor lunch by purchasing tickets in advance or on the day of the festival. The celebration will conclude at 2:30 PM.
This year's poster, created by Vallverdú, who was also an opening speaker in 2016, aims to honor the writer and his connection to the winery. Previous editions of the festival have featured works by artists such as Josep Obiols, Pilarín Bayés, and Joaquín Ureña.
