The initiative, aiming to showcase local heritage in a new format, began with a conference titled «El somni d’una nit romànica» (The Dream of a Romanesque Night). The talk was delivered by Joan Pau Inarejos, a well-known journalist and communicator specializing in culture and heritage.
During the evening, Inarejos presented Romanesque art in an engaging and accessible manner, using images, symbols, and stories to connect with the audience. Projections onto the walls of the Cathedral of Santa Maria d’Urgell enhanced the visual experience, illustrating the legacy of this period.
The event was introduced by Teresa Font, director of the Urgell Diocesan Museum, and Pilar Alàez, cultural technician for the Consell Comarcal de l’Alt Urgell. The closing remarks were made by the Bishop of Urgell, Josep-Lluís Serrano, who highly praised the initiative for bringing culture closer to the public.
Also in attendance were the Vicar General, Ignasi Navarri; the Diocesan Archivist, Benigne Marquès; along with representatives from the Consell Comarcal de l’Alt Urgell and the Town Council of La Seu d’Urgell.
