The service recorded over 2,200 attendances and 252 registrations across more than 50 workshops offered. Ester Collado, facilitator at Òmnia Seu, highlighted the positive reception of new courses incorporating tools like artificial intelligence and 3D printing, alongside established workshops on mobile phones, tablets, and social media.
In addition to courses open to the public, the project collaborates with local entities such as the Servei d’Intervenció Educativa Individualitzada de la Salle and the Taller Claror, which is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary.
The service aims to empower citizens in the use of technology. The mayor of La Seu d’Urgell, Joan Barrera, emphasized that the program helps reduce the digital divide among various groups and individuals.
Barrera congratulated the initiative, the service, and the participants, thanking the entities and especially Ester Collado, whom he described as 'the soul of this service'.
Punt Òmnia de La Seu d’Urgell also participates in events and collaborates in forums such as the Comitè Tècnic d’Àrees Digitals de l’Alt Pirineu i Aran.
