The financial investment for the festival grows by 22.81% compared to the previous year. This new allocation is in addition to the 180,000 euros already committed for this edition, which had already represented a 9,000 euro increase. Furthermore, an estimated 50,000 euros are expected from public space usage fees.
The Councillor for Culture, Miquel Nadal, emphasized that the priority is to "democratize access to FiraTàrrega's shows as much as possible." While acknowledging that not all performances can be free, he highlighted the commitment to a majority being accessible without charge.
The direct impact of this funding will result in 7,476 free tickets, primarily for street performances. Additionally, the ticket price for some shows, previously priced at 10 euros, will be halved to 5 euros, and those costing 15 euros will now be 10 euros.
Through these measures, FiraTàrrega 2026 anticipates that 60% of its program will be freely accessible to the public.
