Lleida's Seu Vella has surpassed 65,000 visitors and users between January and August 2026, marking a 15.2% increase compared to the previous year and consolidating an upward trend.

The historic monument registered a total of 65,323 visitors and users during the first eight months of the year, exceeding the 56,692 from the same period in 2025. This growth represents an increase of 15.2%.
The monument's regular activity has also seen notable growth, with 20,121 participants in cultural, social, and institutional events, concerts, presentations, and celebrations. This signifies an increase of 4,479 participants compared to 2025, amounting to a 28.6% rise.
Regarding educational visits, up to August, 5,901 schoolchildren were recorded across 204 groups. It's important to note that these figures do not include visits linked to the start of the school year, which typically boost attendance.
In terms of origin, Catalan visitors remain the majority, with 23,369 registered, of whom 14,172 come from the Lleida region, demonstrating the strong connection of local citizens with the monument. Visitors from Barcelona (7,060), Tarragona (1,359), and Girona (778) are also notable.
From the rest of Spain, the Seu Vella received 8,529 visitors, primarily from Madrid (2,018), Valencian Community (1,531), Andalusia (933), Aragon (865), and the Basque Country (774).
International tourism contributed 7,389 visitors, with a significant presence from Europe (5,224), South and Central America (1,139), Asia (467), and North America (413).
These figures solidify the Seu Vella as one of Lleida's main heritage and cultural attractions, with growing activity in both tourism and the organization of events.
