The Generalitat de Catalunya has announced a planned investment of 11.5 million euros for the Urgell region in 2026, targeting key infrastructure and economic growth.

The Segarra-Garrigues canal will receive 2.9 million euros to advance irrigation modernization. Additionally, 1.9 million euros are allocated to the Boscarró Nord-Sud industrial estate in Tàrrega to promote local business activity.
Infrastructure projects include the C-53 bypass in Anglesola and maintenance works across the region. Educational facilities, such as the Ribera del Sió institute in Agramunt, are also set to receive funding for building improvements.
Environmental efforts will focus on the Corb River, with nearly 457,000 euros dedicated to ecological recovery in Ciutadilla, Guimerà, and Vallfogona de Riucorb to prevent flooding and enhance social use.
