The Diputació de Lleida (Provincial Council of Lleida) has promoted the consolidation works on the eastern section of the Guimerà Castle wall, budgeted at 209,116 euros, to ensure stability and heritage preservation.

The works focused on restoring the thickness of the wall using materials recovered from the demolition itself. The project included the execution of cyclopean concrete made of lime, sand, and recovered stones, in addition to the construction of an exterior masonry layer following the original courses.
To improve the stability and durability of the intervention, a drainage system was installed at different levels. The Deputy of the Technical Services Area, Cristina Morón, and the Director, Ivan Sabaté, visited the site accompanied by Mayor Salvador Balcells.
