The streets and squares of Guimerà were adorned with flags, shields, and period emblems to host the Medieval Fair. According to the mayor, Salvador Balcells, participation exceeded expectations, with over 20,000 visitors. Both the organization, stallholders, and local businesses gave positive assessments of the event's development.
One of the notable novelties this year was the installation of tarpaulins for sun protection, enhancing visitor comfort. To combat the heat, fans with the program were also distributed, and a climate shelter was provided.
The craft market featured 120 stalls, and demonstrations of ancient trades such as blacksmithing, glassblowing, and basket weaving were held. New attractions included a military camp by the Cultural Association Templers de Puig-reig and a theatricalized medieval escape room along the banks of the Corb River.
The entertainment program was rounded out with reenactments, parades, guided tours, open wineries, and a miniature train to the castle. The festivities concluded with the performance of La petita gran història de Guimerà, a fireworks display, and a concert by the cover band Sicuta.
The Guimerà Medieval Fair, originally established in 1994 as the Medieval Market, has been renamed to encompass the diverse range of activities offered.
