Educational centers in la Seu d'Urgell marked Francophonie week with a series of activities, including a scavenger hunt through the historic district for students learning French.

The initiative involved the Joan Brudieu and La Valira institutes, the Official Language School (EOI), and the Adult Education Center. The events concluded this Friday, March 20th, coinciding with International Francophonie Day, which promotes linguistic diversity worldwide.

"It is a current and also delicate topic, and it is good to discuss it with students because sometimes relations between France and French-speaking countries are not entirely good, but we specifically value French as a language of communication."

Guénola Moreau · French teacher at EOI
Students participated in the third edition of a scavenger hunt featuring eight checkpoints. BatxiBac program students presented challenges based on a local tourist guide of la Seu d'Urgell previously developed by EOI students. The program also included sessions for adults and joint talks with the Puigcerdà center.
