The La Solana center, managed by the Tàrrega City Council, has successfully concluded the Dual Occupational Training Program in welding for twelve young people, boosting their job placement since January 2025.

The FPO Dual program, specializing in mechanical manufacturing and welding, began in January 2025 and will formally conclude in February, yielding very positive results. The twelve participants, young men aged between 18 and 25, combined classroom and workshop learning with real-world experience through a one-year alternating training contract.

"La Solana contributes to offering training in those trades where the business sector has the highest demand."

The training itinerary included electrode technique and specialization in MIG/MAG welding, the most requested by the industrial sector. In addition to training, the students performed tasks that directly benefited the municipality of Tàrrega, such as constructing the new protective railing at the Municipal Sports Pavilion and repairing containers.
The program's success was made possible thanks to the involvement of six collaborating companies in the region, including Serralleria i Manteniments Jeman (Anglesola), Ros Roca (Tàrrega), and Satech Laser (Cervera), ensuring that the training aligns with the real needs of the industrial fabric.

The success of this program is measured not only by the title, but by the contribution in favor of the personal growth of these young people who acquire skills to enter the labor market.
