The Pont Martín family has officially presented the new Créixer en Harmonia foundation in Tàrrega. The organization is established with the primary goal of enhancing early detection and comprehensive support for children facing learning difficulties and neurodivergencies. To achieve this, the foundation will foster collaborative network work with all involved stakeholders, aiming to provide more agile and coordinated responses for both the children and their families.
The project will commence with a pilot program spanning five years, initially focusing on third-grade primary school students. This model includes screening and diagnostic phases over three consecutive academic years. Children identified will be eligible for two years of specialized intervention and follow-up.
The foundation is collaborating closely with the Urgell-Tàrrega Educational Governance Zone and the Tàrrega City Council to integrate this initiative into the Educational Environment Plan. Furthermore, it benefits from the clinical support of the Sant Joan de Déu Foundation, ensuring methodological rigor and a scientific basis for its activities.
The intention is for this pilot experience to solidify a coordinated model rooted in Tàrrega, built upon public-private collaboration. The ambition is that, once its effectiveness is proven, the model can be expanded to other regions.
