The appointment of Natàlia Lloreta was formalized through a decree signed by Mayor Fèlix Larrosa. Lloreta takes over the position of Head of the Mayor's Cabinet at La Paeria in Lleida, replacing Xavier Batalla, and begins her duties this Tuesday.
Until recently, Lloreta served as the executive director of Fira Tàrrega for the past five years, starting in November 2020. During this period, she was responsible for strategic direction, management, and team leadership at the major cultural event.
Her background also includes a political stint in Tàrrega, where she served as Councilor for Municipal Services and Communication for AIPN (a local political brand linked to the PSC) between 2007 and 2011. She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and has postgraduate degrees in advertising creation and technopolitics.
In addition to her journalistic and cultural management experience, Lloreta directed the company Intersecció SCP. From this platform, she co-founded, along with Jesús Vilamajó, the contemporary creation festival Embarrat and the magazine Londarí.
