Athlete Pol Puiggener Marsà, representing Club Esportiu Alba from Tàrrega, secured a bronze medal at the Spanish FEDDI Cross-Country Skiing Championship held on March 14 in Navarra.

Competing at the Larra-Belagua station, Puiggener finished third in the 5km freestyle event. Despite challenging terrain conditions, the skier, who also trains with CENA in Tuixent, delivered a strong performance among the top national competitors.
The second day of competition was cancelled due to severe weather and road closures, preventing Puiggener and his partner Eneko Luyen from competing in the relay event, where they were favorites for the gold medal.
This bronze medal serves as a significant milestone for Puiggener, as he continues his preparation with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the upcoming Paralympic Games.
