The Fondistes Penedès club member secured the top spot in the overall standings through remarkable consistency. Raimon Palau achieved podium finishes in the Mollerussa, Tàrrega, and Balaguer races, alongside a fourth-place finish in Lleida.

During the eleventh edition of the gala in the Urgell region, the runner praised the health of these classic events. Palau suggested that the Ponent circuit model could be exported to other areas like Penedès, which also hosts historic races with high participation.
