The Tàrrega City Council has opened 31 new regulated parking spaces this March, primarily located at the town's former bus station, to facilitate access to the commercial center.

The project includes 25 spaces at the old bus station and 6 on Mestre Güell street. This temporary measure, authorized by the Government of Catalonia, utilizes the station site which has been vacant since last summer.

"The measure allows for the provisional use of the old station while future projects for the space are being defined."

The town now offers 338 paid parking spots alongside 1,114 free spaces. New parking meters have been installed, supporting Bizum and mobile apps like ElParking, as the council considers pedestrianizing Torras i Bages street.
