The Tàrrega Agricultural School has launched the second semester of its Vocational Training in Agricultural Production with 70 students enrolled in the distance learning modality.

Launched in 2021, this flexible program allows students to balance their studies with professional or personal commitments. It is specifically designed for those living far from educational centers or active professionals seeking official certification in the agrifood sector. The course is delivered in partnership with the Open Institute of Catalonia (IOC).
The curriculum covers organic horticulture, plant health, and farm management. The 2,000-hour program combines online modules with mandatory hands-on internships in local companies. Prospective students can apply for the next intake from May 4th to May 18th via the school's official website.
