The city of Tàrrega has recently been the scene of two significant events: the general assembly of the Societat Ateneu and the inauguration of the new Els Pilars day therapeutic center.

The centenary Societat Ateneu, founded in 1919, held its general assembly, a crucial meeting point for this entity that energizes the cultural and social life of Tàrrega. During the session, three members of its Central Council were renewed, thus ensuring the continuity of its work through its various sections and collaborations with other local organizations.
In parallel, the capital of Urgell has seen the opening of the modern facilities of the Els Pilars day therapeutic center. This space, specialized in caring for people with neurodegenerative diseases, began its service last Monday, February 9.
To showcase its services and facilities, the center organized an open day on Sunday, March 15. Located next to the camí Vell de Verdú, Els Pilars offers an adapted environment for the development of therapies and activities aimed at improving the quality of life of its users.
