The Department of Feminism in Tàrrega has launched a special program for March to recognize women who worked in the textile trades within the informal economy.

The events start on March 6th at Sala Marsà with the exhibition Producció íntima. Curated by Lluïsa Gabarra Labad, the display explores how homes became workspaces for local women.
On March 8th, the Plaça Major will host the official institutional declaration at 12:00 PM. Other highlights include a botanical printing workshop and the documentary play La primera i les mestres de la República at Teatre Ateneu.
The program concludes on March 25th with the IV Atenea Recognition, a ceremony honoring the lifelong work of local seamstresses and embroiderers.
