Tàrrega's 32nd 'Arts en Viu' Season commences with a program blending performing arts and music. The comedy 'Plaer Culpable', written and directed by Lara Díez, will take the stage at the Teatre Ateneu on Saturday, October 3rd. The play features performances by Mar Ulldemolins and Francesc Ferrer.
The plot follows Laia and Jordi, a couple eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child. Believing they are ready for this new chapter, they decide to confess any remaining secrets to start their parenthood without shadows. However, what was intended as an exercise in honesty turns into a genuine upheaval as past experiences and desires come to light. Through acid humor and a provocative perspective, this transgressive comedy reflects on how open-minded and egalitarian we truly are.
Performances will offer accessibility services including surtitles, amplified sound, and a hearing loop. Ticket prices are 20 euros, with discounts available. Tickets and season passes can be purchased at the Botiga del Museu (carrer Major, 11) and via the official culture website of Tàrrega. The Teatre Ateneu box office will be open from one hour before each show.
