The town of Tàrrega hosted its second Saint Patrick's Day festival last Saturday, an event that saw the Carreró pub completely packed with locals and visitors.

Organized by journalist Aleix Cruz, the venue was transformed into an authentic Irish pub. The high attendance meant many participants had to enjoy the festivities from the street, highlighting the growing popularity of the event in the Urgell region.
The veteran Celtic band Sláinte provided the live soundtrack for the evening. Their performance marked a return to Tàrrega since their first appearance at the Ondara Folk festival in 1998. DJ Fionnmccool also performed during the night.

"I am grateful for the support of the ten sponsors and Paupaterres Produccions who made Sláinte's performance possible."

The celebration included traditional Irish drinks and a costume contest where the most creative participants were awarded special Saint Patrick pins, marking a successful cultural exchange in Tàrrega.
