The Department of Culture has unveiled the music lineup, which includes prominent names from the Catalan scene such as Sexenni, Fades, Ouineta, and The Targarians. These artists, along with groups like Band The Cool and Faves Tendres, will offer free concerts throughout the week.
This year's festival poster design is the work of illustrator Susana Calvo Boira, selected through a competition by the Participatory Culture Board. The image blends Tàrrega's cultural tradition with a modern and minimalist style.
“"The clear commitment to Catalan as a language of cohesion, the incorporation of a gender perspective throughout the program, and an approach that strengthens both the local sphere and ties with the Catalan Countries. All of this is the result of collaborative work with local entities, allowing us to offer a diverse, transversal, and high-quality Festa Major."
The musical program will kick off on Saturday, May 9, with Band The Cool at Plaça de les Nacions Sense Estat. On Wednesday, May 13, Plaça Major will host performances by Faves Tendres and The Targarians, who will present their repertoires of pop, electronic, alternative rock, and Jamaican ska-rock.
On Friday, May 15, Ouineta (Marta Ros) will bring her debut project, Ouineta Verificada, to Plaça de les Nacions sense Estat, featuring influences from reggaeton and bachata. On Saturday, May 16, the same square will be the venue for a double concert with Sexenni, who will premiere their new show based on the EP Només música!, and Fades, a Mallorcan group combining pop, house, and urban music.
Regarding orchestras, on Thursday, May 14, Banda Sonora will perform at Plaça de les Nacions sense Estat. The Orquestra Maravella, awarded the Creu de Sant Jordi, will offer its repertoire on Sunday, May 17, in the same square.
