The Tàrrega City Council has concluded maintenance and painting works at the Tàrrega Urgell Museum, aiming to preserve the heritage site and modernize the entrance and exterior of the building.

The project, costing 11,688.60 euros, was carried out by Pintures Vilamajó. These works are part of the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan, which focuses on upgrading municipal facilities to meet contemporary museum standards and enhance the city's historic center.

"We are a tourist attraction for the city and we must continue to look after our heritage."

Oriol Saula · Director of the Tàrrega Urgell Museum
Some areas of the museum had not been repainted since its opening in 1994. This renovation follows the installation of LED lighting in the Noble Halls last April, further improving the building's efficiency and visibility.
